oh goodness!! i live in houston now and used to live in aurora.
will the madness ever end?!?!?
prayers going out!!
This has to STOP,,, what is wrong with people….. No one is safe no adays,
This is so very sad yet evokes anger and disgust at the same time!
What is the benefit of such heinous actions? Do these gunmen ever become “heroes”? Get away with their actions? Find satisfaction and live happily ever after?
The answer is NO, nothing is gained by such deplorable, stupidity!
There is nothing but loss, loss of life, loss of security, loss of freedom for the gunman. . . . I will never understand the reason for such behavior!
My thoughts and prayers are with the students, facility and families that are once again forced to deal with tragedy!
they are saying on local news (i am in houston) that both gunmaen were caught and this started as an argument between 2 individuals, with possibly bystanders shot. not great in any way, but not a case of walking into a room and opening fire. i cant believe people are so out of control.
I know this isn’t the (ahem) popular, “politically correct” opinion, but it’s mine: I just wish some of the other heat-packing students with conceal carry permits would’ve gotten their weapons out & defended themselves….would’ve stopped all that nonsense if the 2 idjits with the original dispute had both gotten shot to death by someone defending themselves.
I guess only in Appalachia do we have people who take on the nuts & stop them with “an eye for an eye.”
Three people, including one gunman, were wounded in shooting between two people at Lone Star College campus in Houston, Texas, school spokesman says.
Two suspects are in custody, CNN affiliates KHOU and KTRK report
Fourth person suffered heart attack, federal law enforcement source says

Hi, Houston! I am near Dallas.
I just can’t imagine people zeroing in on any school to attack. They must be true cowards to select honest young hardworking people to sneak up on.

Court sets aside 2 of Casey Anthony’s convictions
ORLANDO, Fla. – Florida appellate court has set aside two of the four convictions Casey Anthony faced for lying to detectives during the investigation into her missing 2-year-old daughter.
Judges on the 5th District Court of Appeals agreed with Anthony’s attorneys Friday that two of the charges constituted double jeopardy, or being convicted more than once for the same crime.
The judges, however, ruled that the trial court was correct to allow her statements to detectives to be used during her murder trial.
Anthony’s attorneys had argued that she was in police custody at the time and hadn’t been read her Miranda rights.
Anthony was acquitted of killing Caylee in 2011. Jurors convicted her of four counts of lying to detectives, and her attorneys appealed those convictions.
