Roy Kronk Call To Police In Tenn. Could Impact Casey Case

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Casey Anthony’s attorneys on Friday will question Roy Kronk, the former meter reader who found Caylee Anthony’s body.
Local 6 has learned of another discovery that Kronk made years earlier in Tennessee that could impact the Anthony case.
Anthony’s defense team has suggested that Kronk may have kidnapped and killed Anthony’s daughter, Caylee. Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in Caylee’s death.
Local 6 has obtained a police report from Tennessee that sources said may be used by the Anthony’s defense team to attack Kronk’s credibility. During Friday’s depositions, Casey Anthony’s attorneys will likely question the former meter reader about the rainy day in 2008 when he found Caylee’s body.
The defense is also likely to question him about the day four months earlier when he repeatedly called authorities to the same area to report a suspicious item he found there. A deputy showed up, but was unable to find anything unusual. Now, Local 6 has learned that 11 years earlier Kronk called authorities to another wooded area in Tennessee, but that once again officers who responded to that scene were unable to find what Kronk had been describing.
According to a 1997 report from Kingsport, Tenn., Kronk told investigators they would find several stolen guns and other stolen items in a wooded field. But when officers searched the field, they were unable to find any of the items Kronk was talking about.
According to sources, Casey Anthony’s defense team found it odd that Kronk would call police twice to two different wooded areas where nothing was found. Sources said the defense team may use the Tennessee police report to challenge Kronk’s credibility and raise reasonable doubt.
Anthony’s lawyers have already suggested that Kronk may have been responsible for the toddler’s disappearance, even though police and prosecutors have not turned up any evidence of that.
Local 6 called Kronk’s attorney for a response to allegations against him. He said there is no need for a response, calling this, “One of the many sideshows in this case.” Kronk’s attorney also said his client has nothing to hide and points out that he is not the one on trial.

WESH NEWS REPORTS: An Orlando criminal defense attorney said Friday is the day Anthony’s defense team can solidify their theory that Kronk is someone they could point the finger at in Casey’s trial.
“Either he’s the guy, or he’s not the guy,” criminal defense attorney Richard Hornsby said.
Hornsby said Anthony’s defense team can gain valuable information against Roy Kronk, but they still have to commit fully to the theory that Kronk was behind Caylee Anthony’s disappearance.
“The state has a solid theory it’s Casey Anthony. The defense does not have a solid theory if they’re just kind of pointing at Roy Kronk and saying he wasn’t investigated enough,” Hornsby said. “You can’t have it both ways.” SOURCE: WESH NEWS ORLANDO 5:08 pm EDT July 29, 2010

A commenter on MD (might have been Dave, can’t remember) said he/she thought the connection was Cast Iron Tattoo shop. They thought ZG’s boyfriend or past boyfriend worked there. Never heard that one, possible I guess.

Patty~~It’s in Richard Grund’s statement to LE that one of the Casey’s boy toys was pictured with The Cast Iron group. Also, he hung out where they did. Sorry I don’t remember the guys name right now. But it is on a audio tape of Richard Grund with LE on YouTube. I think?? it is the last tape…if I remember right that would be either part 4 but I tend to remember it is part 5. Not sure.

This is a slam dunk case for sure. The State of FL has a mountain of evidence against Casey and truthfully, they only need half of the evidence they have against her to get a conviction.

Out of all the apartments in Florida that Casey could have lied to the cops about dropping off Caylee, she chose the one that had been vacant for 3 months–one that wasn’t even livable, let alone fit for a a fake nanny to take care of a toddler due to heavy construction . LOL! That always cracks me up. Casey better roll up her sleeve because the needle is coming.

Cindy Anthony stated that she believes “Caylee is still alive”. And yet the duhfence is working on painting others at the murderer. Such as Roy Kronk, Jessie Grund, Zenaida Gonzales.
How are all these lies going to pull together to add up to a truth that could set Casey free?

I haven’t been around in a couple of days - and come back to a few good articles by Express.
I, personally do not care that Kronk could have a reliability issue. I am thankful he did what he did to find little Caylee! I do wonder, though, what his interest in the case was, to go looking for her on multiple occasions. Was it in the interest of decency and justice? I am quite curious about this.

Ok, I just went back and listened to Richard Grund’s audio. It is on part 4 of his police interview. He is talking about Danti Salate and Brandon Snow. I don’t know if Danti every dated KC…no idea. But that is the only reference to the Cast Iron/ Muscle car references I remember.

Good evening everyone. I read here daily but don’t post often.
I was just reading everyone’s comments about Crazy using ZG’s name before June/July of 2008 , and I think I read on here awhile back that Crazy and one of her friends were pulled over by the police at one time and Crazy handed the policeman a fake I.D. , and the name on the fake I.D. was Zenaida Gonzalez. I’m almost 100% sure I read it on here, does anyone remember that by any chance? Thanks guys!

I remember on the day that KC wrote a check from Amy’s checkbook for $250.00 at the bank, “someone” named ZG paid a traffic ticket right down the block from the Bank. It has long been speculated that KC had a ZG fake id. So far, no proof has been shown that I’ve seen. I think that LE is holding a lot of things close to the vest, and of course, not releasing everything to the public. I wonder how long before a trial will discovery be turned over to Baez. That again, I just don’t remember.

If Crazy handed the cop a fake I.D. when she got pulled over, the cop would have taken it right then. I wonder LE has the I.D.? Supposedly there are 2 houses that are very near where Caylee was found :sad: and the last name on one of the mailboxes is Zenaida and the last name on the other mailbox is Gonzalez. Apparently Crazy went to that area where Caylee’s body was found alot when she was younger and it was a little hang-out spot for Crazy and her friends AND she buried her dead pets there. (SICK!) So maybe THAT’S where she got the name ZG ? Maybe she had that name in her mind a long time before what she did to Caylee and the whole Sawgrass /ZG thing was just a coincidence? Just a thought……
