The order directs authorities in Lauderdale County to release Jarred Mitchell Harrell to Florida, where he faces 29 counts of possession of child pornography.
Authorities say Harrell is wanted for questioning in Somer Thompson’s October death. Her body was found in a south Georgia landfill two days after she disappeared while walking home from school in Orange Park, near Jacksonville.
Harrell, an unemployed 24-year-old who lived on and off in Somer’s neighborhood, was arrested Feb. 11 in Meridian, Miss. He is being held there on a $1 million bond. SOURCE: WFTV.COM NEWS ORLANDO FLORIDA 12:51 pm EST February 22, 2010

Am I the only one here right now?
This is another sad story. I hope if he’s guilty, he gets to visit old Sparkey one day.
Finally…justice is beginning for Somer.
He looks like a sicko. Only 24 years old….what a waist
I hope for the sake of Somer’s family this is indeed the murderer and it can be proven! The not knowing has to be eating this poor family alive!
Yet another beautiful innocent child gone too soon! I pray for justice for Somer and her family! :emotion:
I really hope this is the guy and he gets what he deserves AND more. This family needs some answers and closure. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain this Mother feels, not to mention her siblings that probably harbor guilty feelings for teasing her before she ran from them. God please give this family what they need. My sincere thoughts and prayers are with them all!
Justice for Caylee and all of the other angels in heaven with her.
Speaking of heaven, has anyone heard anymore about Nevaeh’s killer?
msv 24 - Nevaeh : I just searched the news and the latest article, February 15th. A year later and still no suspect.
