Who Dat won the Super Bowl? The New Orleans Saints, that’s who.
Ain’t kidding.
Put away those paper bags forever: Drew Brees and the Saints are NFL champions, rallying to beat Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts 31-17 Sunday night in one of pro football’s most thrilling title games.
Brees tied a Super Bowl record with 32 completions, the last a 2-yard slant to Jeremy Shockey for the winning points with 5:42 remaining. The Pro Bowl quarterback was chosen Super Bowl MVP.
New Orleans’ lowly ranked defense made several key stops, an onside kick sparked their second-half comeback, and Tracy Porter’s 74-yard interception return on a pass from Manning, of all people, clinched it.
Manning gave chase, but fell awkwardly as the cornerback zipped by. The four-time NFL MVP forlornly walked to the sideline as the Big Easy celebrations began. Who would have thought the biggest mistake of the game would have come from Manning?
An NFL embarrassment for much of their 43 years, the Saints’ football renaissance, led by Brees and coach Sean Payton, climaxed with Shockey’s touchdown and Lance Moore’s 2-point conversion catch — which Payton challenged and won after Moore was ruled down at the 1.

OBs, I doubt Casey will break that record, we half to remember a lot of guys watch football, and watching Casey will not be on there list. Besides they will not want to snack on Cheetos that may make them sick.

Maw Maw, yes Payton is a great quaterback but Brees and team and Coaching staff showed there stuff yesterday and they darn well earned the Super Bowl be proud. It just showed who wanted the game more, they were great. And I am so happy for the people there, I know they are also proud.

WOW! 106 million people watched MawMaw’s superbowl. Well, we at least know that casey was not among them. While the rest of us got to watch and support our favorite teams, regardless of who they were, she had to settle for cheese puffs and dip. Maybe she listened to it on her radio. I don’t care what she did. We all know we are on here because of her precious little girl and caring people who want justice for her. Just like New Orleans, rebuilding their future, our one goal here is to speak up for one little girl and help build a brighter future for all little children. I can’t imagine living a life of lies like the anthony’s. What a dismal future they must have and deserve.

i must say a frog and a snail isn’t as bad as saying, a shark and a crocodile. it is still pretty bad. throw in puppy dog tails and we have something that is pretty bad no matter how you look at it.

Happy tonight. Last night we had a party, and there was no one from LA there. They didn’t know. They were nice and they pulled for the Saints because they were our team. But… they were, always hopeless. Even yesterday, before the game, the sports commentors were reluctantly saying they expected the Colts to win. Well, why not? Who doesn’t like Peyton Manning? Any other year, he’s my go-to guy. Buy ya know, like that saints medal you wear around your neck for hopeless causes- that was the Saints yesterday. We spent years expecting nothing from our NO team. Now, we’re walking around in a daze today. If the Saints can win the SuperBowl, ANYTHING is possible. Anything at all. Don’t get mad anymore about this stuff we see happening in the world… get going with your prayer and your will… and help make the impossible happen. One thread, one hair, one print, one good idea can keep a murderer from murdering again. March on saints.
