Psychologist on Autopsy Results: Caylee Anthony Murder Act Of Rage

BILL SCHEAFFER, FORMER PROSECUTOR: The strongest point is the fact that they found the body clothed in the pink shirt with the lettering on it that George Anthony said Caylee was wearing when he last saw her, and the person he last saw her with was the mother, Casey. And always, the last person that was seen with the victim certainly is the suspect and usually turns out to be the killer. That, coupled with the forensic evidence that linked articles found at the crime scene to Casey Anthony`s home, establishes a pretty strong chain of circumstance evidence in this case.

The most damaging evidence to the professionals on the Nancy Grace show is the Duct Tape evidence from the autopsy with the psychologist pointing out that Casey Anthony murdered Caylee in an act of rage:
MICKEY SHERMAN, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: And I disagree a little bit with the last opinion because neither one of those things really makes the ball get closer to the finish line for the state. I think what the most — strongest evidence was today from the autopsy is the moral outrage and absolute scary, heinous act of the thought of putting duct tape along this child`s mouth. That is just so upsetting to most people. That will put the nail in the coffin…What the jurors are going to see are the photographs of that child`s skull with the duct tape.
In earlier guests, and particularly Mickey Sherman, have pointed out the moral repugnancy associated with that particular act.
Host: To Dr. Lillian Glass, psychologist, what impact on someone, especially the jury, could these photos have?
DR. LILLIAN GLASS: I think they can have a great impact, because when they see what has happened, it will be devastating for them to look at.
And when you realize that there may have been several pieces of duct tape that were placed over her mouth, it shows that this was an act of rage.
KATHI BELICH, WFTV: Well, I think the most damning information that came out of this autopsy report was that there were several layers of duct tape that were placed over the mouth and jaw area of Caylee. They were found there stretched across to her hair on both sides. Our legal analyst believes that that shows that it wasn`t an afterthought, that it was possibly to quiet her or to stop her from breathing. We also saw that the experts performed tests on pizza and even a dead squirrel to see if they would show results that they found in the trunk of Casey`s car, and that turned out not to be a similar situation at all.

To whoever I stated that the clothes that George had described to LE as what Caylee was wearing were found in her room, I apologize, obviously they were found with the remains(sorry George), I don’t know where I read that, maybe she had duplicates, sometimes kids will get duplicate outfits for birthdays or Xmas. There is so much info out there it is hard to keep track, maybe I need a break, plus my computer crashed with all my info and links!ugh! RIP Sweety I do feel bad for George and Cindy because they are consumed with greed, one of the 7 deadly sins, no wonder Casey was a sociopath, when we put that much focus on money we become and create monsters. My God says that I should have compassion for them, some days it is very hard and I find myself comsumed with disgust for this family, that is not healthy, especially considering that I don’t even know them. I still have faith that justice will be served but I don’t feel the need to bash them so much anymore. I am glad I decided to go to church today.
I hope the Anthonys went to church today as well, maybe in time they will see that they are not helping Casey by all the lying, we can only hope and have faith…………….

This is John Morgan asking Judge Rodrigues to force G and C to finish their depositions. It may have Dom Casey in it too, since he is strongly resisting answering ANY questions. Last time this hearing was scheduled, Brad Conway decided his back was hurt and he didn’t want to show up. Always some excuse for the A’s to get out of testifying under oath. I think it is the being truthful they don’t like.
I have learned most of what I know about this case from this site. I am recently retired and can now spend more time. Difficult from the office..

Good morning all, just in after a few days off. I was totally disgusted when I watched NG Friday night. I haven’t read the autopsy report yet, but will a little bit later. What I did hear on NG was enough to make you sick. I’m glad there were no pictures, as I don’t think I could take it. And to watch George up front blubbering and trying to sway the judge, and then stomping out of the courtroom when the judge made his decision - those fake tears didn’t last long did they, and Cindy then sitting there shaking her head in disgust, well Cindy, both you and George are disgusting hippocrites. Everyone is saying, shut the he !! up and stay home and stay off the tv shows. You’re saying one thing and doing quite another thing. Then to have to sit there and watch Conway trying to implicate others was a total joke too. The A’s are the ones that have created this media circus to begin with, because they cannot stay out of the limelight. George and Cindy, this is NOT about you. This is about little Caylee and justice for her memory. You are both hippocrites of the highest order. To me, this autopsy report speaks volumes. Let’s see now, who did it help more, the defense or the prosecution? The criminal defense attorneys on NG make me sick, because they said, oh, well this autopsy report definitely helps the defense and they’re trying to implicate anyone and everyone that can. Like how? There were several things in the report that we didn’t know about, such as the several layers of duct tape across the mouth and even covering up the nose, (and if that isn’t premeditation and grounds for the DP, I don’t know what is) - the plant life growing through the bones (which to me indicates the body remained there from the time the baby died, the fact that the clothes that the baby was wearing were the same clothes George saw her wearing the last time he had seen her leave the house with Casey, and lettering on the baby’s shirt, “big trouble comes small.” It just all adds up to only one killer and she’s sitting behind bars right now. Yes, this poor baby must have suffered. They weren’t able to determine the cause of death, but she had to have suffocated with the tape across her nose and mouth. This killer had to have been filled with so much rage and hate to have done this, and I am not usually a proponent of the death penalty, but in this case, I have to say that the killer deserves it. She cannot walk away from this crime by a “not guilty verdict.”
I think Dominic Casey was a no show for his deposition saying he was trying to get a lawyer, so Morgan & crew are not happy with him for sure. Also he has that complaint filed against bozo which should have nothing to do with him being able to testify at a deposition.
I had thought maybe Dom was turning into a good guy, until I read what his attorney wrote to Morgan about the deposition. It was full of insults and nasty toward Zenaida. Dom is going to be a good guy only if dragged kicking and screaming to the criminal trial. I imagine he will avoid prosecution himself only if they have offered him immunity for his testimony. Not that we know what he knows…

I can’t understand how Caylee’s skeletonized corpse could have remained since right after her death in the vacant land near the Anthony home. Wasn’t that area searched multiple times? The claim is that vegetation was found growing thru the remains of the unfortunate child, which is forensic proof supposedly.
The vegetation had to have been growing for 5-6 months. Any thoughts?
Dom has lost one supposedly really good criminal defense att’y, and has come up with a different one now. That might be one of his excuses for not showing up at the depo.

hi steel bonnet: the area was never searched. The volunteers were several hundred yards from the woods. I grow plants and it would be impossible for the roots and all to be growing through the skeleton if the body were placed there at a much later date. Plus: the body was placed there while it was still in one piece and it had to take some time for animals to discover it and pull the pieces where they were found. Curse that Casey: no way to treat your child on so very many levels.

There were many overgrown vines which obscured the view from the road and lots of plant growth thru Caylee’s bones and around her. Very difficult to have seen unless you stumbled on it. The report posted yesterday had some paragraphs about how thick vines and vegetation was. I would think that unless you knew where to look exactly, it would have been hard to find especially in a black bag which being dark probably blended with the area. I still think Dominic Casey looked for Caylee at the direction of someone in the family and he could not find her because unless you know the area, you wouldn’t understand directions. Also he is still fighting against his phone records being released - so I am wondering if LE or bozo has any of his phone records at this point.

Conway on today saying autopsy report raises more questions than answers. Will be a case of forensic expert against forensic expert and who do you believe. He said G & C had a difficult week-end, last Fathers Day is the last time they had Caylee and Cindy. Said the reason G & C don’t see Casey is because of the video tapings/releases. Same old stuff!
Any forensic expert saying it raises more questions than it answers - I say go back and read the part that says several layers of duct tape! That ought to answer the most important question. She was killed in a rage by Casey.
RPB - Last I saw he was still fighting the release of his phone records. So if anyone got his phone records, they aren’t saying.
House Dragon - Conway is nothing more than a puppet that G & C control. They should have done what Nejame told them to do and then they would have a decent attorney. Conway does not impress me at all because he has no integrity.. Perfect example was his idiot remarks on LKL about no duct tape on hair. He is willing to spew anything they ask him to say instead of being an attorney and giving them good advice - like to shut up already.
Conway is working for Casey, isn’t he? For me, the report tightened up the time line. There is only about two weeks even possible before Caylee was dumped. No one else saw her. Casey wasn’t in the least upset about her missing child. George and Cindy with emails saying they were missing her. An invented nanny, an invented job, a boyfriend who didn’t want a little girl…There is no person other than Casey who could have done this. If there are fingerprints on the duct tape, it is all over except the DP arguments.
Conway is doing nothing just blowing hot air. That’s what criminal defense attorneys do best, deflect blame onto someone else. The duct tape, the clothing, the vegetation growth. How does that raise more questions? Seems pretty clear to me, as a lay person. Also Conway blowing more hot air about jailhouse visits. If the A’s really wanted to see KC, they could. They could find other things to talk about, but they want to condemn everyone else around them. Not buying it either. Total B.S. I won’t even watch them on anything they appear on because they totally, totally disgust me. I printed out a copy of the autopsy report and later on this evening, I will probably sit down and read it. The A’s managed to have the video tape of KC barred from going public. Geez what more do that want? They want everything their way? Well, it “ain’t” going to happen. Life is not fair. As for the autopsy report, it is a matter of public record and the public has a right to see it and the judge had no choice but to release it. To do so, would have set a precedent for others.

George and Cindy not seeing Casey ………….first Conway said it was because of the video taping then he said it was at the direction of Baez……….now back to the video taping! Well I don’t believe any of it! If it were my child in jail and I was “so sure she was innocent” I would be visiting taped or not! Can you not go for support? To say hello? To see how she is doing? This is all BS……….Baez doesn’t want them there because he is going to blame G & C for the murder…………G & C don’t go because they know they will get an ear full from Casey…………it’s all about me me me!!! This is a family of total dysfunction and not one of them has ever learned how to speak the truth!
As for Georges big sobbing fit at the hearing I found it interesting that he went from a weeping sobbing emotional wreck to a defiant arrogant fool in a matter of seconds when forced to answer a few questions from the media attorney!
Who will win the academy award this year…..George ……the ever so humble sobbing fool that can turn into an angry loud animal at the drop of a hat…………..Cindy……..the expert gum chewing, head shaking, cross bashing liar that can create a set of lies to cover the truth on a dime. Denise - I totally agree. I wonder if G & C’s names are even on the visitors list. Is there a way to get a recent record of who in on the list and who is not?
Haz: the defense is playing games again. The duct tape over the mouth (and maybe the rest of it) went to the FBI and a final report will come from the feds when they are good and ready. It has already come out that the duct tape over the mouth had adhesive residue in the shape of a heart and that the heart was found in the area. So, when they say the autopsy did not show the duct tape stuff, they are right. Not that it wasn’t there: just that the report is not part of the autopsy.
It reminds me so much of Mark Geragos and Scott Peterson. Geragos mistated the evidence before trial and kept saying how stuff would come out at trial that would prove Scott P innocent. Not totally honest to do so, but typical of highly paid defense attorneys.

i think not only does the sticker match one at the house, in a heart sticker sheet, but the stickers were located in a scrapbooking folder that was in an armoire in casey’s bedroom. there are pics of all this in one of the doc dumps, including the armoire. who else but casey would know to go in to that furniture, go right to that folder, go through the folder and find a specific sticker and then return it all back in order so that cindy wond’t have noticed it???? i wonder who…..and who’s fingerprints might LE find on those sticker books??? i wonder who….
Do we know if Lee has been to the jail to visit Casey?
no one has visited casey other than her counsel, its been reported. why? i think casey is refusing. also there is a jail visitation log which gets updated and is made public every few months, so you can view who saw her and for how long and at what time.
Hi Lee: and while we are wondering, I wonder if that is more evidence that Caylee was killed at home.
Also G & C know it was Caylee’s Pooh blanket found with the remains just as they know it was their laundry bag. Prior to the start of all of this, Cindy may have thought Casey took the laundry bag with her and the blanket which would not set off any alarms since they were traveling. But once they found Caylee - both of them knew without a doubt that Casey killed Caylee and I believe that is the true reason behind no visits to Casey. Cindy knows she would not be able to contain herself if she were face to face with Casey and all hell would break loose.

i think they took the rug from the back porch but didn’t find anything. can’t remember if anything else was in the docs. imho the baby was killed at the house and it was most definitely planned. too sad.
I will always wonder why Kronk took a leak in a snake infested heavy vegetated area … who does that ???? Wouldn’t going to the nearest gas station be logical. When he was there in August he said there were snakes so you go back in those woods knowing that, and how does a skull roll out of a bag with heavy vegetation. It just does not add up …. I also thought it was curious when Casey said that Zenieda had the same kind of car seat as hers… only Zenieda’s had the stickers on it. It’s obvious to me that she was covering her bases in case LE ever recovered that sticker. Incidentally, I don’t think she’s the smartest person in the world.
I always thought that she had killed Caylee on the night of the 15th after the fight and took Caylee home, in the morning, saying she was asleep until everyone left… temporarily burying her in the backyard, before taking off saying Caylee was with her. But, we may never know exactly what happened.
Cha Cha:
If it weren’t for Roy Krunk, there wouldn’t be a strong case against Casey. The death penalty wouldn’t have been placed back on the table… but most of all, Caylee would still be in those woods.
Kronk has no ties to Dominic Casey. The first time he looked in the woods was because he noticed some commotion… and saw some ‘garbage’. The second time, was because he just couldn’t get it off his mind. He didn’t run from the snake, the LE officer did. In fact, he was probably no more than three feet from Caylee at the time. That officer has lost his job as a result of his recklessness. The third time, I would imagine was because the water had receded after the hurricane and he wanted to take one more look.
He’s my HERO!
The one that is full of it, imo, is Padilla.
He started off with this theory that Caylee was drugging her child, leaving herin the trunk when she went to clubs and had the whole nation thinking that this baby was abused over and over. The drugging, in his mind, went on for months. But, I can assure you, if Caylee had been drugged for months on end, she would not have been a little princess. Chloroform is highly addictive and causes major brain damage after continued use. This two-year old was able to sing ALL of ‘You are my Sunshine” with perfect pitch, tone and timing. IMO, Padilla is as bad as the Anthony’s in the way he seeks attention.
Quick Question: Some of you have stated that Casey’s boyfriend (I’m assuming Tony) didn’t want children. I’ve some how missed this point. Can someone please enlighten me on this?

cha cha- I agree,, I also think Casey not seeing anyone is her way of having control. I think she enjoys denying someone seeing her that wants to more than the visit itself.
Apparently, from what I read, and I believe it also states it in TL’s statement to police about how, if he had children, he only wanted to have boys, and not girls, something to do about having boys and playing baseball and all that. I was just reading a transcript of TL’s and they did touch on that subject in the transcript.

Rage runs in the Anthony family….IF it’s researched i’m sure there is more on record , not only one incident with George’s father, and or the rage Cindy had upon returning from the nursing home i’m sure the A’s marriage was loaded with tons of it, after all Casey didn’t get the way that she is today by herself…Just poor Caylee was the recipient , from all of them!
The problem with the rage angle is that Casey might have been enraged from the fight with Cindy on the 15th, but by the day of the 16th when they left the house around 12:30 that would have subsided. Nope this was cold-blooded calculated murder.

Work and being sick has kept me away for awhile, but I am catching up…Regarding the motive behind Casey being in a rage…I think Caylee may have been acting like a two year old and I either heard or read somewhere that Casey’s friends (Amy H & Morales) were going on a vacation and Casey was to either go with them or somewhere with her boy toy tony. I think Cindy did not watch Caylee and Casey had to deal with Casey and in being selfish, Caylee was probably not wanting to go or cooperate with Casey and then Casey lost it. If they have linked the duct tape from the gas cans, maybe she used the tape from the gas cans. I know, we have all tried to figure out what the heck happened in Caylee’s last moments. Good God, why would anyone do that to her child? A child she cared for and carried full term? It is so beyond cruel and indecent, inhumane, sick, disgusting and such a horrifying act…I really think that if Casey gets the death penalty, they should kill her the same way she did her daughter in. Also, I remember hearing that one of the movies that Casey and Tony watched had a guy being tortured in an acid tank. Is it possible that she put Caylee in acid after killing her or was this how she died? Why am I mentioning this movie. I am still trying to understand how there was no soft tissue and just skeletal remains. Could she have placed Caylee in the woods a few days after driving around with her decomposing in the trunk. My God, what if she tortured her and worse, what if Caylee was still alive when she got the duct tape on? Even if Casey gets the death penalty…will it ever be equal to what she did to poor innocent Caylee. While I can see why George and Cindy are so blind and don’t want to believe anything– have they both not thought of what Caylee was put through from CAsey? Damn, it just seems so f)&&^*&^*^*&^(*09 unfair!!!!!!:-(( Casey should NEVER EVER have another pleasant day in her life… since she has not come up with any shred of truth and led the Law Enforcement astray from day one of this coming out to the public…Along with Caylee wearing the clothese that George described her being in on last seeing her and these were the clothes discovered in the remaining items, Casey did it. IT is so very sick, unthinkable but this is what Casey relies on it seems is that using people’s decency to manipulate them. Damn you Casey, why did you do such a horrible thing to your baby?

You said that you didn’t understand why there was no soft tissue remaining.
The reason there is only skeletal remains is because the body was exposed to the elements over six months. The “body farm” in Tennessee, I believe its called Oak Ridge, has performs tests to show that remains can become skeletonized in just around two weeks time in summer conditions. And those tests are performed on adult bodies. A small child, in hotter and more humid conditions (such as Florida opposed to Tennessee) can certainly become skeletalized in less time. And I apologize for how morbid all of this sounds. But Caylee was probably completely skeletalized by the time Casey got that damn “beautiful life” tatoo.
I BELIEVE…….THE NEW ATTORNEY IS GOING TO PULL A SWITCH AT THE LAST MOMENT AND BLAME THE FATHER—-GEORGE. HE IS GOING TO USE THE EXCUSE THAT GEORGE WANTED TO KILL HIMSELF, AND GEORGE HAD INFO ON HIS COMPUTER WITH REGARDS TO ALL OF THIS.
THEY JUST KEEP SWITCHING THE BLAME. FIRST THE NANNY, THEN THE OLD BOYFRIEND, NEXT IS THE FATHER. I CAN SEE THIS FROM MILES AND MILES AWAY.
BOTTOM LINE SHE WILL LIE AND LIE PLACE BLAME ON ANYONE INCLUDING HER FAMILY TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER.
