Anyone else pick up Ann Rule’s latest book? Â I got it last week & have read most of it already. Â Also found Diane’s book about Casey at Walmart for $4.97 - finished it in 2 nights.

  Cara, I have come a long way since August with the Links. Remember when I first started posting here?  I did not even know how to post a Link. If memory serves me correctly, you went and got info for me several times before I learned to post Links! If it was not for you and others who were so nice and patient, I doubt if I would have stuck around!  TCD is a great site with wonderful people.
Cara, I miss you.  I wish you would post on TCD again. I will always be pleasantly surprised to see you!  Â

Tom,Keep up with the great work you are doing.So many are struggling today with addiction.I had 2 in my own family.Took until their 40s to be delivered.Theres some powerful strong holds drugs addictions top on the list.It can effect rich,or poor,..So any way you can help pull a person from this dark place.It just is wonderful.Write on my friend.May God richly bless what you have published,an many come to read,an make the choice to make a change.Those strung out many times the family just doesnt  understand,or are just tired of it.Because they dont understand..But someone who has been there,an has walked a mile in the same shoes they are walking,can help them.Come to a place to want to change.Most i have helped,after my recoverySay,we didnt want to be there,it was a struggle everyday.But we just couldnt see a way out.Who better to tell them than a servivor.I will always remember going into a drug house,no lights,only candles where they were all using in one form,or fashion.I went to get some one out of that place.An my heart broke for a young girl,with a long black braid down her back,a iv user.I can still see the picture so clear in my head today.My heart broke,that was someone child there.An headed on the way out. So best of luck with all you do to help others.  A multitude are dieing from this every day,an few workers to help them out.      :emotion:

THANKS! That made me day. Found out I have glaucoma a couple weeks ago & had a little pity party. Then, after Mass and an NA meeting, I realized how blessed I am. Its been too long since I have been a regular at TCD. Thats gonna change. God Bless!

Talie & Cara! My how I missed you & here. Me parish priest has been taking me to barnes & nobles every saturday before evening Mass. I should mention I work on parishioners machines for very small $$ (I almost blew a blood vessel at a certain ’squad’ when I saw them ripping off old folks BLIND) but back to topic. We have a coffee, do the updates for his laptop and he buys me a book or two. Normally I run to the classics that B&N offer, 3 for the price of 2 BUT a newish release caught me eye. It was “The Improbable Adventures of Sherlock Holmes” BTW the new movie is 100x better than I expected:

(kiss to express for letting me pkug me work. she is awesome in encouraging new talent) So the book is an anthology of all those sci-fi and horror stories that us a machina ex deus to bring the world’s greatest detective onto the scene. Man, some of those stories I had not seen since OMNI magazine when I was a teenager in the late 1970s. If you like SHerlock or dig qiuality sci-fi and/or horro, go check it out. I also wrote a review for google books. Free, but hey, I love to get me name out there.
