HERE’S A PLACE TO DISCUSS YOUR WONDERFL PETS
- Bella- our newest puppy, she's a Pekon (designer dog: Pekinese & Bichon Mix)

They’re all soooo cute!!!
After looking at all of these “pin-ups” I feel that I must send Express pix of my little fur babies, Lucky Girl (cat), Cujoe (dog) and Spanky (kitten). Brace yourself Express you’re in for a treat…..lol :p
What adorable little darlings!
One of these days, I will have to send Express a picture of my little boy, “Buster”. He is a Jack Russel mix and controls our household! He has everything he could possibly want because we just spoil him! He is a true love…….very affectionate, loves to go for a ride, and loves to chase squirrels when we let him outside.
No, he did not chase the squirrel Casey claimed to have hit and was stuck to the underside of her car. “Buster” has psychic powers and he said, “Another one of Casey’s lies. No squirrel!” So…..who are you going to believe? Of course, “Buster!” :)
Losing a pet is very heart-breaking. We started the year with 3 old-timer cats, we now have just 1 left.
Every Christmas, when we put up the Christmas tree, they would all lay under the tree on the tree skirt. Every year I took a picture of them under the tree. Who knew last Christmas when I took that picture, that it would be the last one for 2 of them?
We lost 1 on 6/22 & the other on 9/25. The dates stick out in my head. They would have been 17 & 18 years old on this Halloween. The one remaining cat is 16 1/2. I hope he has a few years left in him, because losing 2 so close to each other was very hard on all of us. I know how hard it was on me, but it was hard for my kids too, esp. the 9 year old. They were family. We all loved them so very much.
I have to believe that God has a place for our pets & that I will see them again someday. I want to think of them running around together in Heaven, rolling in a great big, huge catnip field, and watching the birds.
Love you B & S.
PS You should have seen the 3 of them when we brought our first son home from the hospital when he was born. They were all sniffing him, like “Mommy…what the heeeccckkkk did you bring home? This thing is noisy.” Then almost 4 years later, one twin came home, and they were like “Oh no, not another one!” Then the other twin came home 6 weeks later, and they were like “What is going on?!!!!!” Funny!
I have a Russian Blue mix cat named Carter. He is 7 years old. My daughter stole him with love from my son. Carter was my son’s 10 birthday present. My daughter just perpetually fed, stroked, called, loved little Carter he just goes to my daughter all the time. Just yesterday my son said that Carter belongs to his sister now. He is gray and white. If you google images, Russian Blue mix cat, my Carter will appear on your screen. One time he killed a bat and brought it to us as a gift. The little black bat’s body was like a mink fur. He creeped me out about a week ago, he was hungry and he cried out in english, “Moooom!” as he stared at me then licked his lips………
Wow! It is a gorgeous day in my little corner of the world in Texas! My little boy, “Buster” and I are working in the yard today. ”Buster” is having a blast chasing the squirrels up the trees.
He said to tell all, “The audacity of Casey to say her car was stinking because of squirrels being plastered under her car! The nerve of Casey to blame human decomp on the squirrels! Take responsibility for your actions, Casey.” Just relaying a message from “Buster”!
A helpful hint….
If your dog is having trouble with constipation get a can of 100% pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling). Mix a couple of tablespoons in his/her food for a couple of days. It should clear it up.
I don’t know if it works on cats…don’t see why not, it is a natural fiber and shouldn’t hurt them.
Got this from a vet asst after I had just spent $300 bucks at the vet to tell me my 14 year old Jezebel was full of crap! LOL Much cheaper and it is natural!
Also, if your pet has a tendency for this, feel their bellies about once a week. IF you feel a little hardness, start with the pumpkin. :-)
Hi, LoriK! Thank you for sharing your tip. My little boy, “Buster,” will be 14 in May, 2010.
What breed dog is Jezebel?
Hi Ann,
Jezzie daddy was a “stranger in the night”. LOL She is a little thing. Looks kinda like a chiwawa in the face.
Her litter mate, Bubba, looked like a beagle, with a “log body” and very short legs. Bubba passed a few years ago of diabetes.
My Little darlings, are Two that were brough home by my son.A large mix,an a small Jack Russle/Yorki e misx ,shes so skruffy looking lol. The are so cute when playing the small one,is the boss/the larger lets her get away her sassy ways, there still in the middle puppy stage. An i have lost lol about $ 5oo.oo dollars worth of phone charger/net /an vacume cords. Also 2 pairs of Rainbow flip flops.Grrrrrrr.But i have broken their little fannys. When im in a moody blue state, they cuddle around me,an give me much love. 3 yrs.ago for Christmas. My son awoke to a little bundle.A Red Nose Pit Bull Terrier. OH SE WAS A DOLL. I chose a top name breader. An asked that the Runt,an only a red be save for me.I met her Parents, she have such a sweet spirited mom.So she stole my heart.I know they have bad names, but they have to be taught social skill, even as we teach our children.A lovable gentle spirit.Someone by ,not knowing let her out,on a foggy evening she was hit,by a truck :emotion: .She was swiftly buried. An to this day my son thinks she run the old neighbors cat,who had tormented her forever. An someone took her.I just did not have the heart to tell him other wise,no lies, just keep this to myself. We lost her at 2 yrs old, I remember burping her like a baby, letting her sleep on my chest, between my breast, just like i did so many times when my son was new born. She will forever have a place in my heart
Oh, Jan, what a beautiful story! Sorry for the loss of one of your pets. :emotion:
Hi, LoriK!
While you are recovering, I hope Jezzie is giving you plenty of love and kisses!
My boy, “Buster” said he would love to meet Jezzie and Jan’s “doggie” children too.

In honor of all of our beloved pets, I would like to post the Link to this great article.
A few years ago, my boy, “Buster”, was a regular visitor at two nursing homes. It was such a pleasure for me to see the joy he brought to so many elderly. It really did brighten their day and made me feel so good that they had a few happy minutes in their day. The elderly looked forward to Buster’s visits and the love and attention he gave them! In return, Buster got a lot of special attention and many pats on the head from some very special people!

“Pets Can Help Boost Your Health”
now that i have a new computer & i bought myself a digital camera for Christmas (i was sick of using the disposable ones) i will send Express some pics of my kitty cats. …..i wish it had the pet’s name & who he/she belongs to……like Express & co aren’t busy enough. just saying it would be cool :)
all the pictures above are so cute :)
This is the first time I noticed this place to be.
All of pics of all your “pups” are so sweet and darling.
Express, you should still have the pic of myself and my dog Chester.
I lost my Chester. He was 13 years old, a cocker spaniel, though it was hard to tell, because he really got trimmed but good. He was my beloved companion for all those years and always looked up to me. I miss him so much. I think about him all the time. He had cancer which started in his ear. I said to my vet, how will I know when it’s time? She said “don’t worry, you will know.” When it came time to make that fateful call to my vet one day, I cried so hard on the phone, it took me nearly 5 minutes to get the words out of my mouth. I could not say what I needed to say to the vet. I will never forget how hard that was. It was time to take Chester to the vet. When Chester passed on, that was the hardest, saddest day of my life. It broke my heart but I knew I did the right thing.
omg. these pets are sooo cute. i love animals.
